Cibola County
Cibola County is located in the west-central part of the state of New Mexico. It was established in 1981 and is named after the legendary Seven Cities of Gold, which were sought by early Spanish explorers. The county seat is Grants, a city known for its rich mining history and proximity to the El Malpais National Monument.
