Christopher Isherwood
Christopher Isherwood was a British-American writer known for his novels, plays, and autobiographical works. Born on August 26, 1904, in England, he became a prominent figure in the literary scene of the 20th century. His most famous work, Goodbye to Berlin, is a semi-autobiographical novel that captures life in Weimar Germany during the rise of the Nazi Party.
Isherwood moved to the United States in the 1930s and became a naturalized citizen in 1946. He is also recognized for his relationship with the writer W. H.
