Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg
Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg was a Danish painter born on January 2, 1783, in Copenhagen. He is often regarded as the father of Danish Golden Age painting, known for his realistic and detailed depictions of landscapes, still lifes, and portraits. Eckersberg studied in France and was influenced by the French Romantic movement, which shaped his artistic style.
Eckersberg's work emphasized light, color, and perspective, making him a pioneer in the use of naturalism in art.
