Christian VIII of Denmark
Christian VIII of Denmark was born on September 18, 1786, and became King of Denmark in 1839. He was the son of Frederick VI of Denmark and played a significant role in the political landscape of his time, advocating for constitutional reforms. His reign was marked by efforts to modernize the Danish state and improve its governance.
Christian VIII also held the title of King of Norway from 1814 to 1814, during a brief period when Norway was in a union with Denmark. His reign ended with his death on January 20, 1848, after which he was succeeded by his son, Frederick VII of Denmark.
