Christian VIII
Christian VIII was the King of Denmark from 1839 until his death in 1848. Born on September 18, 1786, he was the son of Frederick VI of Denmark and became known for his efforts to modernize the Danish state. His reign saw the introduction of various reforms, including changes in the constitution and improvements in education.
In addition to his role in Denmark, Christian VIII was also the King of Norway from 1814 to 1814, during a brief period when Norway sought independence from Sweden. His reign was marked by a focus on national unity and the promotion of liberal ideas, which influenced the political landscape of both countries.
