Christian Apocrypha
The term "Christian Apocrypha" refers to a collection of ancient texts that are related to Christianity but are not included in the canonical Bible. These writings often include gospels, acts, letters, and apocalypses that provide alternative perspectives on the life and teachings of Jesus and the early Christian community.
Many of these texts were written in the early centuries of the church and reflect diverse beliefs and practices. While some are considered valuable for understanding early Christianity, others were deemed heretical and were excluded from the official canon established by church authorities.
