Cholula Pyramid
The Cholula Pyramid, also known as the Great Pyramid of Cholula, is located in Cholula, Mexico. It is the largest pyramid by volume in the world and was built by the Nahuatl people. The pyramid has a base that covers about 40 acres and is made of adobe bricks, with construction beginning around 300 BCE.
The pyramid is topped by the Nuestra Señora de los Remedios church, which was built during the Spanish colonial period. Over time, the pyramid was covered by earth and vegetation, making it look like a natural hill. Today, it is a significant archaeological site and a popular tourist destination.
