Chills (Fear)
Chills, often associated with fear, are a physical response to a perceived threat. This reaction is part of the body's fight-or-flight response, triggered by the release of adrenaline. When faced with danger, the body prepares to either confront or escape the situation, leading to sensations like goosebumps, shivering, or a tingling feeling.
These chills can occur in various situations, such as watching a scary movie or experiencing a sudden fright. The brain processes the fear, activating the autonomic nervous system, which controls involuntary bodily functions. This response can be linked to evolutionary survival mechanisms, helping humans react quickly to threats in their environment.
