Chilean Congress
The Chilean Congress is the legislative branch of the government of Chile. It consists of two chambers: the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. The Congress is responsible for making laws, approving budgets, and overseeing the executive branch.
The Chamber of Deputies has 155 members who serve four-year terms, while the Senate has 50 members serving eight-year terms. Both chambers meet in the capital city, Santiago, and play a crucial role in the democratic process of the country by representing the interests of the Chilean people.
