Chatuge Lake
Chatuge Lake is a man-made reservoir located on the border of North Carolina and Georgia. Created in the 1940s by the construction of the Chatuge Dam, it serves primarily for flood control, hydroelectric power generation, and recreation. The lake covers approximately 2,200 acres and features a shoreline of about 100 miles.
