Chatham Lighthouse
Chatham Lighthouse is located on Cape Cod in Chatham, Massachusetts. Built in 1808, it serves as a navigational aid for ships entering Chatham Harbor and the Cape Cod Canal. The lighthouse stands 65 feet tall and features a distinctive white tower with a black lantern.
The lighthouse is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore and is managed by the U.S. Coast Guard. It was automated in 1982, eliminating the need for a keeper. Today, visitors can enjoy the scenic views and learn about the lighthouse's history through various informational displays.
