Chasmosaurus
Chasmosaurus is a genus of ceratopsid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 76 to 75 million years ago. It was primarily found in what is now North America, particularly in Canada. Chasmosaurus is known for its large frill at the back of its head, which had distinctive openings and horns above its eyes.
This dinosaur could grow up to 16 feet long and was a herbivore, primarily feeding on low-lying plants. Its body was robust, with a beak-like mouth adapted for cropping vegetation. Chasmosaurus is often studied for its unique skull features, which help paleontologists understand the diversity of ceratopsians.
