Charles Cavendish
Charles Cavendish was an English scientist and member of the Cavendish family, born in 1731. He is best known for his work in chemistry and physics, particularly for discovering the gas known as hydrogen. Cavendish conducted experiments that laid the groundwork for later developments in the field of chemistry.
In addition to his contributions to chemistry, Cavendish is recognized for his research in electricity and the properties of gases. He was a member of the Royal Society and made significant advancements in understanding the behavior of gases under different conditions, influencing future scientists like John Dalton.
