Charles Alfred Pillsbury
Charles Alfred Pillsbury was an American flour miller and businessman, born on December 3, 1842, in New Hampshire. He is best known for founding the Pillsbury Company, which became one of the largest flour milling companies in the United States. His innovations in milling technology and marketing helped revolutionize the flour industry.
Pillsbury played a significant role in the development of the Minneapolis milling district, which became a major center for flour production. He introduced the famous Pillsbury Doughboy mascot in 1965, further solidifying the brand's presence in American culture. Pillsbury passed away on October 17, 1899.
