Charcoal Products
Charcoal products are made from carbonized organic materials, primarily wood, that have been heated in the absence of oxygen. This process, known as pyrolysis, removes moisture and volatile compounds, resulting in a lightweight, porous material. Charcoal is commonly used for grilling and barbecuing, as it burns at high temperatures and imparts a distinct flavor to food.
In addition to cooking, charcoal products have various applications in filtration and purification. Activated charcoal, for example, is treated to increase its surface area, making it effective for absorbing impurities in water and air. Other uses include skincare products and medicinal applications, where charcoal helps to detoxify and cleanse.
