Chang'e 2
Chang'e 2 is a Chinese lunar probe launched on October 1, 2010, as part of the Chang'e program. Its primary mission was to create a detailed map of the Moon's surface and to test technologies for future lunar exploration. The spacecraft successfully entered lunar orbit and completed its mapping mission in 2011.
After its lunar mission, Chang'e 2 was redirected to explore the asteroid 2010 TK7 and later the Lagrange point between the Earth and the Sun. The probe provided valuable data and images, contributing to our understanding of both the Moon and deep space.
