Chaldean Catholics
Chaldean Catholics are members of the Chaldean Catholic Church, an Eastern Catholic Church in communion with the Roman Catholic Church. They primarily speak Aramaic and have roots in the ancient Mesopotamian region, particularly in modern-day Iraq. The church follows the East Syrian liturgical tradition and emphasizes the importance of the sacraments and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
The Chaldean Catholic community has a rich cultural heritage, including unique traditions, music, and cuisine. Many Chaldean Catholics have migrated to various countries, especially the United States, due to conflict and persecution in their homeland. They continue to maintain their religious practices and cultural identity in their new communities.
