Chain Mail
Chain mail is a type of armor made from interlinked metal rings. It was commonly used in the Middle Ages to protect soldiers during battles. The rings are usually made of steel or iron and are woven together to create a flexible and durable protective layer. Chain mail can cover various parts of the body, including the torso, arms, and legs.
This armor was effective against slashing attacks from swords and other weapons, but it offered less protection against blunt force. Knights often wore chain mail under their armor for added defense. Today, chain mail is still used in some forms of protective clothing, such as for butchers and fishermen.
