Chagatai Khan
Chagatai Khan was the second son of Genghis Khan and played a significant role in the Mongol Empire. He was born around 1186 and became the ruler of the Chagatai Khanate, which covered parts of Central Asia, including modern-day Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Chagatai was known for his military skills and governance, helping to maintain the unity of the empire after his father's death.
Chagatai Khan's reign lasted until his death in 1242. He is remembered for promoting the Mongolian language and culture, as well as for his efforts to manage the diverse peoples within his territory. His descendants continued to influence the region for generations.
