The Chūgoku region is located in the western part of Honshu, Japan. It consists of five prefectures: Okayama, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, Tottori, and Shimane. Known for its diverse landscapes, the region features mountains, rivers, and coastal areas along the Seto Inland Sea.
