Cetshwayo
Cetshwayo was the king of the Zulu nation from 1873 until 1884. He is best known for his leadership during the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879, where the Zulu forces achieved significant victories against the British, notably at the Battle of Isandlwana. Cetshwayo's reign was marked by efforts to modernize the Zulu military and administration.
After the war, Cetshwayo was captured and exiled by the British. He was restored to the throne in 1883 but faced ongoing challenges from colonial powers. His leadership and the Zulu resistance remain significant in South African history, symbolizing the struggle against colonialism.
