Cesar Legaspi
Cesar Legaspi was a prominent Filipino painter known for his contributions to modern art in the Philippines. Born on April 2, 1917, he became a key figure in the Neo-Realism movement, blending traditional Filipino themes with modern techniques. Legaspi was also a founding member of the Hughes Art Group, which aimed to promote contemporary art in the country. Throughout his career, he received numerous awards and recognition, solidifying his legacy as one of the leading artists in Philippine history. He passed away on April 7, 1994.
