Central American Football Federation
The Central American Football Federation (FEDEFUTBOL) is the governing body for football in Central America. Established in 1961, it oversees the organization and promotion of football activities in the region, including national leagues and international competitions. FEDEFUTBOL is responsible for the development of the sport and works to enhance the quality of football across its member countries.
The federation comprises seven member associations, representing countries such as Costa Rica, Honduras, and Guatemala. FEDEFUTBOL organizes tournaments like the Central American Cup and facilitates the participation of its members in FIFA and CONCACAF events, promoting regional cooperation and competition.
