Cecilia of York
Cecilia of York was born in 1479 and was a member of the English royal family. She was the daughter of Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville, making her a sister to Elizabeth of York, who became queen consort to Henry VII. Cecilia's life was marked by the political turmoil of the Wars of the Roses.
In 1496, Cecilia married John, Lord Howard, who later became the Duke of Norfolk. The couple had several children, and Cecilia's lineage continued to play a significant role in English history. She passed away in 1527, leaving behind a legacy tied to the Tudor dynasty.
