Catshark
The catshark is a small species of shark belonging to the family Scyliorhinidae. They are typically found in shallow waters along the continental shelf and are known for their slender bodies and distinctive cat-like eyes. Catsharks can grow to about 3 to 4 feet in length and are often characterized by their spotted or striped patterns.
These sharks are primarily nocturnal hunters, feeding on small fish, crustaceans, and other invertebrates. Catsharks are harmless to humans and are often seen resting on the ocean floor during the day. They play an important role in their marine ecosystems by helping to maintain the balance of prey populations.
