Catalan-speaking
Catalan-speaking refers to the use of the Catalan language, which is primarily spoken in Catalonia, a region in northeastern Spain. It is also spoken in parts of Valencia, Balearic Islands, and the eastern part of Aragon. Additionally, Catalan is used in Andorra, where it is the official language, and in some areas of France and Italy.
The Catalan language is a Romance language, closely related to Spanish and French. It has a rich literary tradition and is recognized as a co-official language in Catalonia and Valencia. Efforts to promote and preserve the language have been significant, especially in education and media.
