Catalan flag
The Catalan flag, known as the "Senyera," features four red stripes on a yellow background. It is a symbol of the Catalonia region in northeastern Spain and represents its distinct culture and identity. The flag's design is rooted in medieval heraldry and has been used since the 12th century.
In addition to the traditional Senyera, a variant includes a blue triangle with a white star, symbolizing the desire for independence. This version is often associated with the Catalan independence movement, which seeks greater autonomy or full independence from Spain.
