Carver
Carver is a well-known figure in American history, primarily recognized for his contributions to agriculture and education. Born into slavery in the early 1860s, he became a prominent scientist and inventor. He is best known for his work with peanuts, sweet potatoes, and other crops, developing numerous products and techniques that helped improve farming practices.
In addition to his agricultural innovations, Carver was an advocate for sustainable farming and environmental conservation. He worked at Tuskegee Institute, where he taught farmers about crop rotation and soil health. His efforts significantly impacted the agricultural economy in the southern United States, promoting self-sufficiency among farmers.
