Carloman
Carloman was a Frankish king who ruled during the late 8th century. He was the son of Charles Martel and the brother of Charlemagne. Carloman became king of the Franks in 768, sharing the throne with Charlemagne after their father's death. His reign was marked by internal conflicts and struggles for power.
In 771, Carloman's rule ended when he died unexpectedly, leading to Charlemagne becoming the sole ruler of the Frankish kingdom. Carloman's legacy is often overshadowed by his brother's achievements, but he played a significant role in the early history of the Carolingian Empire.
