Carl Ludwig Blume
Carl Ludwig Blume was a German botanist born on April 17, 1796, in the city of {Düsseldorf}. He is best known for his work in the field of plant taxonomy and for his contributions to the study of tropical plants. Blume's extensive research led to the identification and classification of numerous species, particularly in the {Indonesian} archipelago.
In 1826, Blume published his most significant work, titled {Flora Javaensis}, which detailed the flora of {Java}. His efforts greatly advanced the understanding of plant diversity in Southeast Asia. Blume passed away on December 1, 1862, leaving a lasting legacy in botany.
