Carinus
Carinus was a Roman Emperor who ruled from 283 to 285 AD. He was the son of Emperor Carus and became co-emperor with his brother, Numerian. Carinus is known for his military campaigns and efforts to maintain stability in the Roman Empire during a time of internal strife.
His reign was marked by conflicts, including battles against the Goths and Persians. Carinus faced challenges from rival claimants to the throne, which ultimately led to his downfall. He was defeated by Diocletian in 285 AD, marking the end of his rule and the beginning of a new era in Roman leadership.
