Numerian
Numerian was a Roman Emperor who ruled from 283 to 285 AD. He was the son of Emperor Carus and became co-emperor with his father. After Carus died during a campaign against the Persians, Numerian continued to lead the Roman forces but faced challenges from rival claimants to the throne.
His reign was marked by military struggles and internal strife. Numerian's rule ended when he was found dead in 285 AD, leading to the rise of Diocletian, who would go on to reform the Roman Empire. Numerian's death remains shrouded in mystery, with some suggesting foul play.
