Carburetors
A carburetor is a device in internal combustion engines that mixes air and fuel for combustion. It works by drawing air through a narrow passage, creating a vacuum that pulls fuel from a reservoir. This mixture is then delivered to the engine's cylinders, where it ignites to produce power. Carburetors are commonly found in older vehicles and small engines, such as those in lawnmowers and motorcycles.
While modern vehicles often use fuel injection systems for better efficiency and performance, carburetors remain important in certain applications. They are simpler in design and easier to repair, making them popular among hobbyists and mechanics who work on classic cars or small engines.
