Capillary Hemorrhage
Capillary hemorrhage refers to the bleeding that occurs from small blood vessels known as capillaries. This type of bleeding is usually minor and can happen due to various reasons, such as minor injuries, bruising, or certain medical conditions. The blood loss is typically limited and may appear as small red or purple spots on the skin, known as petechiae.
In most cases, capillary hemorrhage does not require extensive medical treatment and can resolve on its own. However, if it occurs frequently or is accompanied by other symptoms, it may indicate an underlying issue that requires further evaluation by a healthcare professional.
