Candi Borobudur
Candi Borobudur is a massive Buddhist temple located in Central Java, Indonesia. Built in the 9th century during the reign of the Syailendra Dynasty, it is renowned for its intricate stone carvings and large stupas. The temple is designed as a three-dimensional mandala, symbolizing the universe in Buddhist cosmology.
The structure consists of nine stacked platforms, with a central dome at the top. It is adorned with over 2,600 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues.
