Canadian Museum for Human Rights
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is dedicated to the exploration and promotion of human rights. Opened in 2014, it is the first museum in the world solely focused on human rights education and awareness. The museum features various exhibits that highlight the struggles and achievements related to human rights both in Canada and globally.
Designed by architect Antoine Predock, the museum's striking architecture symbolizes the journey toward human rights. It includes a tower of hope and various galleries that address topics such as indigenous rights, genocide, and freedom of expression. The museum aims to inspire visitors to reflect on their own roles in promoting human rights.
