Campanile di San Marco
The Campanile di San Marco is the bell tower of St. Mark's Basilica in Venice, Italy. Standing at 98.6 meters (323 feet), it is the tallest structure in the city. Originally built in the 9th century, the tower has undergone several reconstructions, with the current version completed in 1912.
The campanile features a square base and is topped with a golden weathervane shaped like the Archangel Gabriel. Visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views of Venice and its famous landmarks, including the Grand Canal and Piazza San Marco.
