The Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) is a political party in Cambodia, founded in 2012 through a merger of the Sam Rainsy Party and the Human Rights Party. It aims to promote democracy, human rights, and social justice in the country. The party has been a significant opposition force against the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP). In 2017, the CNRP was dissolved by the Cambodian government, which accused it of plotting to overthrow the CPP.
