California Government
The California Government operates under a democratic system, consisting of three branches: the executive, legislative, and judicial. The Governor, currently Gavin Newsom, leads the executive branch, while the legislative branch is made up of the California State Assembly and the California State Senate. Together, they create and pass laws for the state.
The judicial branch interprets laws and includes various courts, with the California Supreme Court being the highest. Local governments, such as counties and cities, also play a significant role in governance, managing local issues and services. This structure allows for a balance of power and representation across the state.
