Cacataibo Language
The Cacataibo language is an indigenous language spoken by the Cacataibo people in the Peru region. It belongs to the Panoan language family, which includes several other languages spoken in the Amazon rainforest. The language is primarily used in daily communication among the Cacataibo community.
Due to factors like urbanization and cultural assimilation, the number of speakers has been declining. Efforts are being made to preserve the Cacataibo language through educational programs and documentation initiatives, aiming to keep the language alive for future generations.
