CXC
The Caribbean Examinations Council, or CXC, is an organization that provides educational assessments and qualifications for students in the Caribbean region. Established in 1972, CXC offers a range of examinations, including the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE). These qualifications are recognized by educational institutions and employers both locally and internationally.
CXC aims to enhance the quality of education in the Caribbean by developing relevant curricula and assessment methods. The council works closely with governments, schools, and educators to ensure that the examinations meet the needs of students and reflect the region's cultural and social context.
