CMA Canada, or the Certified Management Accountants of Canada, was a professional organization that represented management accountants in Canada. It focused on advancing the profession through education, certification, and professional development. The CMA designation was recognized for its emphasis on strategic management and financial decision-making. In 2014, CMA Canada merged with the CGA Canada (Certified General Accountants of Canada) and CA Canada (Chartered Accountants of Canada) to form the CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada). This new organization unified the accounting profession in Canada, providing a single designation and enhancing the profession's standards and recognition.
