CIAC
The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) is the governing body for high school sports in Connecticut. Established in 1921, it oversees athletic competitions and ensures fair play among member schools. The CIAC organizes championships, sets rules, and promotes sportsmanship across various sports.
In addition to managing athletic events, the CIAC also emphasizes the importance of academics and character development. It provides resources and support for schools to enhance their athletic programs while encouraging student-athletes to excel both in sports and in their studies.
