CFA Pile
A CFA pile, or Continuous Flight Auger pile, is a type of deep foundation used in construction. It is created by drilling a hole into the ground using a continuous flight auger, which is a large screw-like tool. Once the hole is drilled to the required depth, concrete is pumped into the hole while the auger is slowly withdrawn, forming a solid pile that provides support for structures.
CFA piles are known for their efficiency and minimal vibration during installation, making them suitable for urban areas. They are often used in projects where soil conditions are challenging, providing a strong foundation for buildings, bridges, and other structures.
