CERT
CERT, or the Community Emergency Response Team, is a program designed to educate and train volunteers in basic emergency response skills. It prepares individuals to assist their communities during disasters, such as earthquakes, floods, or other emergencies when professional responders may be delayed.
Participants learn essential skills, including first aid, fire safety, and search and rescue techniques. By fostering a sense of preparedness and teamwork, CERT helps communities become more resilient and capable of handling crises effectively, ensuring that residents can support one another in times of need.
