CASA advocates
CASA advocates are trained volunteers who support children in the foster care system. Their primary role is to represent the best interests of these children in court and other settings. They gather information about the child's situation, build relationships with them, and communicate their needs and wishes to judges and social workers.
These advocates work closely with social workers, lawyers, and families to ensure that children receive the care and support they need. By providing a consistent presence in a child's life, CASA advocates help to promote stability and positive outcomes during a challenging time.
