CAMRA
The Campaign for Real Ale, commonly known as CAMRA, is a consumer organization in the United Kingdom that promotes traditional beer and pub culture. Founded in 1971, its primary aim is to support the production and consumption of real ale, which is brewed using traditional methods and ingredients without the use of additives or preservatives.
CAMRA advocates for the rights of beer drinkers and works to protect and preserve local pubs. The organization also organizes events, such as the Great British Beer Festival, to celebrate and showcase a wide variety of beers, encouraging appreciation for the craft of brewing.
