C/2013 US10
C/2013 US10, also known as Comet ISON, is a long-period comet that was discovered on October 21, 2013. It was notable for its bright appearance and was expected to become visible to the naked eye as it approached the Sun in late 2013.
The comet's orbit brought it close to the Sun on November 28, 2013, during which it experienced intense heating. Unfortunately, it disintegrated shortly after perihelion, leading to a diminished visibility for observers on Earth. Despite its breakup, C/2013 US10 provided valuable data for scientists studying comet behavior.
