Buxa National Park
Buxa National Park is located in the Alipurduar district of West Bengal, India. Established in 1991, it covers an area of approximately 760 square kilometers and is part of the larger Buxa Tiger Reserve. The park is known for its diverse flora and fauna, including several endangered species such as the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Indian Elephant.
The park features a mix of deciduous forests, grasslands, and hilly terrains, making it a rich habitat for wildlife. Visitors can enjoy activities like trekking and birdwatching, as the park is home to over 300 species of birds, including the rare Great Indian Hornbill.
