Burmese Bible
The Burmese Bible refers to the translations of the Christian Bible into the Burmese language, which is spoken primarily in Myanmar. These translations aim to make the scriptures accessible to the Burmese-speaking population, facilitating their understanding of Christian teachings and beliefs.
The first complete translation of the Bible into Burmese was completed in the 19th century by missionaries, notably Adoniram Judson. Since then, various revisions and new translations have been produced to reflect contemporary language and improve clarity, helping to support the growth of Christianity in the region.
